Community Volunteer Connections (CVC) began as the Greater Coquitlam Volunteer Bureau in 1976, promoting volunteerism and working with not-for-profit agencies to engage citizens in volunteer work. Serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding region, CVC matches volunteers with opportunities with the vision of enhancing the quality of life for people from all walks of life and building strong, resilient communities through volunteerism.
Community: The communities we serve are the source of our strength. We believe it's important for community members to be engaged in volunteerism and to promote the work they do with volunteers.
Respect: By listening to, understanding and accepting each individual’s uniqueness, we support each other’s contributions to the team, organization and community.
Leadership: To continually provide useful and significant resources, services and solutions to promote and create meaningful community engagement.
Excellence: We strive to be the best in everything we do. We take pride in doing this through accepting ownership, exceeding expectations and striving for continuous improvement.
