The Canadian Archery Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a standing committee of Archery Canada (“AC”), mandated to raise and grant funds for the advancement of archery in Canada, and to work with the Canadian Olympic Foundation which manages AC’s endowed fund. The Foundation is looking for 3 volunteer directors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

If you are passionate about or interested in becoming involved in national sport development consider joining our team at the Archery Canada Foundation as a volunteer member of our Board of Directors!

The Archery Canada Foundation is currently accepting applications from individuals interested in serving as a volunteer board member.

The Canadian Archery Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a standing committee of Archery Canada (“AC”), mandated to raise and grant funds for the advancement of archery in Canada, and to work with the Canadian Olympic Foundation which manages AC’s endowed fund. Committee members, known as “directors,” award grants, bursaries, and scholarships to participants in archery at all levels, with a focus on youth archery, target archery, 3D and field archery, coach and judge development, and club development. The Foundation is looking for volunteers who will participate in the following functions:

  • Discussions leading to the selections of the recipients and the granting of award amounts
  • Setting fund raising goals
  • Assisting at fund raising events
  • Assisting with any public relations efforts
  • Attending board meetings and committee meetings (normally held electronically)
  • Reporting annually to Archery Canada

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of financial statements
  • Ability to work collaboratively

Other:

  • Knowledge of fund raising or archery an asset.
