Impacting mental health

Work with Adults in Our Mental Health Program

Community Volunteer Connections and the Fraser Health Authorities have partnered to provide support to adults in need.  Volunteers assist support workers at the Riverview Lodges in Coquitlam and the Timber Creek facility in Surrey, to assist clients in their journey to greater mental health and skill development.

Working towards inclusion

Volunteer Integration

CVC has partnered with Community Living BC to work with adults in the Volunteer Integration Program, a specialized service for adults with intellectual disabilities living in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. Adults with disabilities are referred to the program through Community Living BC.

It’s business as usual, though far from usual circumstances. We have taken steps to ensure volunteers working our programs are doing so under safe conditions, with staff monitoring situations closely. We are in touch with our community partners and committed to supporting their efforts with volunteers.
