Volunteer Title: Hatchery Manager

 Commitment: Available during the week and weekends

Location: 12 Mossom Creek Dr, Port Moody, BC V3H 2X3

Job Description: Mossom Creek Hatchery is looking for able volunteers to help out as a Hatchery Manager. If you have lots of energy and a passion for volunteering, this would be a great fit for you. Someone with mechanical or building skills and experience would find lots of interesting activities at the Center. Ideally, a newly retired person looking for some really interesting volunteer work would be best suited to handle this.

Mossom Creek Hatchery is home to 150,000 salmon coho, chum and pink. You will be working in a recently built, very modern building as the old wooden hatchery burned down 5 years ago.

Physical Requirements: This position requires a lot of standing and working in a cool, sometimes damp environment. All necessary training will be provided
